This qualitative phenomenological study examined the factors influencing food (in)security among vulnerable populations like farming households, women and children in Oyo State, Nigeria. The study particularly focused on the socio-cultural factors that drive food-related behaviors and the role they play in determining the food security status of farming households especially during hunger season.
